First up: Thor. We’ve already seen a number of movie posters for this highly anticipated comic film. The Thor trailer simply looks bad-ass, and these new posters are nothing short of intense either. The tag line reads: “Courage is Immortal”. Quite.
Although we’re looking forward to Thor, and are very excited about the cast (Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Hopkins), we do remember the debacle that was Clash of the Titans last year.
That one featured similar casting: pretty female co-star, machismo male lead, familiar older star – and it was positively a dreadful movie.
Granted, they forced the 3D upon the audience, and had Louis Leterrier directing versus Kenneth Branagh (4 Oscar noms), but we aren’t going to immediately leap to the conclusion Marvel’s latest will be excellent.
Good or bad, Thor hits theaters April 27 in the UK and May 6 in the US. Check out the second Thor movie poster below, and then hit the jump for Fast Five and Midnight in Paris.
